Tsukasa Inoue, the drummer of the modern jazz-rock piano trio fox capture plan and also known for his work with the progressive lyrical rock band THE JUNEJULYAUGUST and as a support drummer for jizue, has been actively releasing singles one after another since his solo debut album, "EVOLVE," which was released last year. Finally, on September 20th, his second album titled "Helix" will be released! The album features a lineup of guest artists from various genres, including ZIN, Jun Futamata, Madoki Yamasaki, Hugh Keice, NEMNE, manzoo, Vin Beats, and Moment. The second disc of this 2-disc CD set includes an Another Version featuring self-remixes.
The album includes refreshing R&B track 2, "Cherish," featuring UKO's solo project NEMNE, a mid-tempo house R&B tune 3, "You," with the groovy instrumental blending with the vocals of Hugh Keice from the South Korean synth-pop band ultramodernista. It also features an up-tempo breakbeats tune 4, "Wish," which incorporates garage elements. Another standout track is breakbeats 9, "Light Is," where Tsukasa Inoue's brilliant drumming complements the chill synthesizers, and the vocals of Jun Futamata and the poetry of Madoki Yamasaki blend together. The 11 track-album that incorporates elements of Hip Hop, R&B, and Breakbeats.
